I. General Provisions

1.  The controller of the personal data of visitors to the Vilnius Culture Centre’s website kaledossostineje.lt (the ‘Website’) is Budgetary Institution Vilnius Cultural Centre (legal entity code 302448350; registered office address: Rinktinės Street 50, LT-09318 Vilnius; tel. +370 526 19 557; email info@vilniuskc.lt; the ‘Culture Centre’).

2. The Culture Centre respects the right to privacy of visitors to the Website and processes personal data (i.e. any information that can directly or indirectly identify an individual) in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (OJ 119, L 2016, p. 1), the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on Legal Protection of Personal Data, the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on Electronic Communications, and other legislation regulating the protection and processing of personal data, and undertakes to ensure the protection of personal data and the rights of data subjects.

3. This Privacy Policy regulates the processing of personal data received by the Culture Centre when visitors to the Website use the Website, i.e. where the personal data comes from, for what purposes it is collected, in what ways and on what grounds it is processed, for how long the data is stored, as well as the rights that visitors to the Website have as data subjects, the procedure for exercising these rights, and other issues.

4. The Privacy Policy applies to all persons who visit the Website, as well as to the actions that visitors may perform on the Website, regardless of the device (computer, mobile phone, tablet, etc.) used.

 

II. Processing of Personal Data on the Website, Purposes and Grounds for the Processing, and Storage Periods

5. The Culture Centre processes the personal data of the visitors to the Website obtained in the following ways:

6.1. For the purpose of managing a request made by a visitor to the Website via the Website;

6.2. For the purposes of determining, ensuring and improving the quality of online services provided by the Culture Centre.

8. The Culture Centre implements appropriate organisational and technical measures for the security of personal data when processing personal data and in order to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful disclosure or other unlawful processing.

 

III. Rights of Data Subjects and Enforcement of Their Rights

9. As a data subject, a visitor to the Website has the right to contact the Culture Centre on issues related to the processing of their personal data, i.e. the visitor has the following rights:

9.4. The right to have the data erased (right to be forgotten);

9.6. The right to data portability;

9.7. The right to object to data processing;

9.9. The right to file a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate.

10. In order to exercise the rights of the data subjects, the visitor of the Website may apply in person to the Culture Centre (at Rinktinės Street 50, Vilnius), by presenting a personal identity document (ID card or passport) and filling in an application form (a representative of the visitor additionally presents a power of attorney certified in accordance with the procedure laid down by the legislation), or by sending the application form and a copy of the personal identity document certified in accordance with The procedure laid down by the legislation by post (to Rinktinės Street 50, LT-09318 Vilnius), or by sending the application by email to info@vilniuskc.lt (the application must be signed by an electronic signature).

11. The Culture Centre may refuse to comply with the requests of the visitor to the Website that are related to their personal data only in the cases provided for by the legislation.

IV. Disclosure of Information to Third Parties

13. The Culture Centre takes measures to ensure that no personal data is transferred or otherwise disclosed to third parties without lawful justification. The Culture Centre has the right to provide information about a visitor to the Website to law enforcement or other relevant authorities as provided by law.

14. The Culture Centre has the right to engage data processors to process the personal data of visitors to the Website (e.g., providers of information technology services, data storage services, telecommunications and other services), but they are not entitled to use the personal data collected by the Culture Centre on the Website for any purposes other than the provision of services to the Culture Centre. Only data processors that ensure the protection of the rights of visitors to the Website are engaged as data subjects.

15. If the third parties referred to in this section are established outside the European Union or the European Economic Area, the Culture Centre undertakes to take all necessary measures, as provided for by law and based on best practices for the protection of personal data, to ensure that the right to privacy of visitors to the Website continues to be adequately protected.

16. The Website may contain links to external websites. The Culture Centre assumes no responsibility for the privacy policies of websites other than those administered by the Culture Centre and the lawfulness of their data processing.

 

VI. Final Provisions

17. The Culture Centre has the right to make additions or changes to the Privacy Policy by posting them on the Website.

18. This Privacy Policy and any subsequent amendments thereto apply from the date of their posting on the Website.

19. The Privacy Policy is reviewed and updated as necessary, and visitors to the Website are advised to consult it periodically when visiting the Website.
